210 Days and Counting: a major update

This is going to be long and mostly for my benefit but hey, if you guys get a kick out of it, awesome. I've decided to make things more condensed, I'm going to link to the pictures instead of embed them.

 Things we have done:
    Still to do:
  • Buy rings
  • Complete all the projects I have materials for (hair pieces, flower girl wands, center pieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, bookmarks, invites)
  • Buy materials for and complete the rest of the projects (dress, tissue paper flowers, flower girl tutus, yarn lanterns, felt dahlia brooches in lieu of corsages, pinata maybe, sun printed picnic blankets)
  • Save money for buying food and then make the food
  • Find shoes
  • Decide what Lawrence is going to wear (which is really up to him)
  • Write ceremony and vows
  • Decide on ceremony music
  • Decide on first dance song and maybe practice said first dance
  • Attempt to convince my gals that doing a choreographed dance number would be super cool
  • Decide who's doing what at the wedding
  • See if the friend who's gifting hair and makeup would be willing to do a trial
  • Eventually do things like send invites and get our marriage license
  • Keep loving Lawrence
I'm sure there's more that I'm not thinking of but oh well.

The ever evolving wedding

It's interesting how much the wedding plans have changed in the past 11 months.
I decided to make my dress, then buy the dress and now a combination of the two.
For flowers I was going to make paper ones, then I decided to use real flowers, for a brief moment I was planning on making tissue paper flowers and now, the bouquets will be made of tulle and Christmas ornaments.
At the beginning of planning, I had this long list of tiny desserts I was going to bake that has since been paired down to three items.
The list goes on.
But I think plans are finally solidifying. I think it has to do with the fact that I'm finally buying the things I need to make it happen. After I've bought supplies, there's no turning back. With 225 days left, I still have a lot to do but I think we've got it all figured out.
I've been thinking about writing a "progress post" or a checklist post as in "Here's what we have done. Here's what we have to do." Would you guys (my loyal readers lol) be interested in reading such a thing? Cause if not, I won't post it. Up to you guys.
